Life is short they say. Because of that, we should always live in the moment.

Life is short they say. Because of that, we should always live in the moment. We should let every moment count and we should live every day like it is our last. Funny that we have different ways to “live in the moment.”

While some of us spend our nights away partying, and others buy gadgets and things to compensate for what they cannot do due to their busy schedules, there are those who find haven in traveling. They take time to explore new places to get better acquainted with the world. May it be for just a short distance from their place, or as far as the other side of the world, there are people who seek refuge in constantly being on the go. Through their social media accounts and public blog site, they are able to publish accounts of their travels for other people to see. This now becomes an inspiration to many or causes enough intrigue to encourage people to consider the same place to be their next destination.

No matter. This observed interest among the public is what made us create this online platform. We aim to be an online site where travelers or even any individuals with the interest in capturing the beauty of any place can freely publish their travel stories. Everyone can consider this as their travel diary for the world to see. Why still have a hard time going through different bloggers account when they can get everything at once here, right?

Although we call this as a travel diary, there is no need for you to travel far and wide just so you can post an entry here. That’s not how it works. You can share a story even if it’s just a place around your neighborhood which holds a significant value to your place. Perhaps that neighbor’s home you can see as your drive out of your garage door in Mesa which was built from another historical ruin, and which place serves as an important place to American back in old days. Just in case you can use a friendly Mesa garage door repair service. Or those amazing newly built buildings you see as you drive out the city. We do not judge. We want to live through your experiences and be entertained, if not inspired by what the world had out there. We want to see those places we have never been yet, but could be potentially our topmost entry in our bucket list. We want to see them through your eyes.

Please take note that the reason we have implemented admins here is to regulate the entries of every individual. We do not edit nor filter any submission but we plead for anyone not to use any profanities and foul language in their entries here. May it just be a form of expression or a way to describe anything, we do not accept any offensive language here. As much as we want to have a free publishing site for everyone, we also want to promote a harmonious relationship between every individual. And that starts here.

Exploring the Grand Canyon

I was never the explorer myself. I only get to travel when my family does. Primarily, because I am sheltered. Being the only daughter of a conservative family, I wasn’t able to experience my teenage years as freely as everyone. Yes, I can go out. But curfews and other boundaries are strictly being implemented at home. As such, you can just find me at home lying on my stomach on the big couch we have, or on my bed reading a book.
I brought such practice even after I move out. It’s not that I am lazy. I just cannot find the interest to go out and explore. I only do when I need to buy some stuff from the grocery. Even that I manage to let others do for me most of the time. I am not exactly an introvert. In fact, I can be outgoing sometimes. I just cannot find the right attitude to do this constantly.

Anyway, I went to Grand Canyon last weekend. It was my first time to travel alone. But I was itching to go somewhere and it is the nearest good thing from my place. And guess what? I was instantly starstruck-ed by the place. People may think that it was just miles and miles of brown and sand. But if you’ll take time to check thoroughly, you’ll see that there’s more than meets the eye.

The rock formations are simply outstanding. They give so much character to the place. I didn’t climb but I wanted to. Since I was not prepared, I’ll leave that to ‘next time’. Nevertheless, the more I looked, the more I fell in love with the place. I even took photos of the magnificent structures I found.

Have you been there? I’d love to hear about what you think. Let’s share pictures and maybe you can advise me on how to proceed for my next trip there!
